Now that’s how you make an entrance! On November 18th, nineteen of our most unique bikes made their debut at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach. As luck would have it, the Moto Doffo Collection was on display right next to the Ducati exhibit, giving on lookers a chance to see the evolution of these incredible machines. After a successful opening day for the press and media, the show opened to the public at 3 p.m and despite the rain, the crowds poured in!
The MotoDoffo Collection Makes Its Debut at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach
As many of you know, Doffo Winery is home to Marcelo Doffo’s personal collection of over 100 vintage motorcycles. Marcelo has been collecting these rare and unique bikes for over 40 years and this year he will bring 19 of some of his favorite pieces to the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, giving attendees a chance to see them up close and personal.
MotoDoffo Welcomes Ducati Globetrotter Rider Eduardo Generali
This past weekend we welcomed Eduardo Generali, one of the riders on Ducati’s Globetrotter 90th project. Eduardo is a moto-adventure guide from Brazil (check out Moto Atacama for more info) and is riding the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro on the fourth leg of this round-the-world relay, handling duties from San Francisco to Indianapolis. On Sunday, October 9th Eduardo and his father stopped by to check out Doffo Winery and the MotoDoffo Vintage Motorcycle Collection. We also invited out some local Ducati riders and our friend Drew from SBK Corse for a meet and greet, and everyone was excited to meet Eduardo and hear about the bike and the project. Later that night we threw a traditional Argentine BBQ for Eduardo and his father, and exchanged stories over some glasses of Doffo wine.
Looking back at the MotoDoffo Event to Benefit the Kurt Caselli Foundation
The 3rd Annual MotoDoffo Event to Benefit the Kurt Caselli Foundation, presented by SCORE International, was held at Doffo Winery on June 11, 2016. Thanks to contributions from event sponsors and attendees more than $32,000 was raised for the Foundation and their mission to improve off-road safety. We displayed over 150 rare, vintage and unique motorcycles from our MotoDoffo Vintage Motorcycle Collection as well as from some of the event sponsors.
Catching Up With Why We Ride Stars: Meet the Doffos
The Doffo Winery sits on the northeast border of the Temecula Valley in California. It is situated on 15 acres of rolling vineyards and the winery has a unique combination of old world charm and a warm family feeling. But the draw for many riders is the Doffo family’s private collection of over 100 racing and vintage motorcycles, which resides in the MotoDoffo Barrel Room.
Hidden Gem: Temecula’s MotoDoffo and Winery
I didn’t expect much when I heard Honda had arranged for a wine tasting. Imagine my surprise when I found out this is where the wine tasting took place, inside the barrel room of Temecula’s Doffo Winery.
Doffo Winery: Proud To Be Small

My first few visits to Doffo Winery weren’t so memorable. The first time the fruit flies were out in full force. The second visit was better, but we still were not that impressed. Thanks goodness we kept hearing good things about Doffo, because the third time was a charm! I recently wrote about that visit (Exploring Temecula’s Boutique Wineries (Plus One Giant)) and after spending time with Marcelo Doffo and his son Damian, I decided I needed to go back and find out more about this special place. This past Saturday, I sat and drank coffee on their patio while Marcelo and Damian shared a mug of yerba mate.
