As many of you know, Doffo Winery is home to Marcelo Doffo’s personal collection of over 100 vintage motorcycles. Marcelo has been collecting these rare and unique bikes for over 40 years and this year he will bring 19 of some of his favorite pieces to the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, giving attendees a chance to see them up close and personal.
The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows the world’s largest consumer motorcycle show tour that provides attendees with an all-access pass to the world of motorcycling, connecting hundreds of thousands of motorsports enthusiasts with top manufacturers and premier aftermarket brands. Doffo Winery and the MotoDoffo Collection will be on display with some of the biggest names in the motorsports world from November 17 through the 19th at the Long Beach Convention Center.
This will be the first time this many of Marcelo’s bikes have left their home in Temecula Valley. The bikes making the journey from Temecula to Long Beach are getting to the VIP treatment in preparation for the show. The bikes have been thoroughly detailed and decked out for their big debut and special arrangements have been made to ensure the bikes safe transportation. Damian Doffo, Marcelo’s son, shares his father’s love for motorcycles and is also looking forward to bringing these special bikes to the public at IMS. “We’re excited about being apart of the IMS show, because we get to share our passion of motorcycles and wine with a crowd that truly understands us and can appreciate our collection,” says Damian.
One of the rarest bikes that will be on display this weekend is a 1959 Ducati 175 Formula 3, only 34 of which were ever made. In addition to the 19 beautifully restored bikes, information about the winery and the collection will be available at the show.
Don’t miss your chance to see these bikes, before they head back to Temecula. “They may not have much value as unique collector pieces, but they are priceless to me since many of them are attached to my heart,” Marcelo Doffo.
