We chose to include this amazing machine as one of the Makoto Endo art series labels not only due to its notable place in history for Moto Guzzi, but for its special place in the MotoDoffo Collection too.
2018 Year in Review
2018 was a monumental year for the MotoDoffo brand. In addition to the three red wine blends that were released (and subsequently sold out!), MotoDoffo was represented at motorcycle events across Southern California. Our core mission is to make exceptional wines and share them with our wine club members, and so it is also our duty to bridge the gap between wine and motorcycles and introduce more riders to the wine world.
From the MotoDoffo Collection: 1947 Gilera Saturno Sport
World War II left Italy’s economy and infrastructure in disarray, and so began the rise of two-wheeled transportation that helped revitalize this nation. One company, Gilera, became known for producing affordable scooters and motorcycles for the masses, but in 1946 it began production on its most exceptional model to date: the Saturno.
From the MotoDoffo Collection: 1956 Ducati 125 Gran Sport (Mariana)
When most people think of Ducati, they think of bright red superbikes built for top speed on racetracks around the world. However, this was not always the case. In fact, although the Ducati brand dates back to 1926, it was not until 1946 that the company began to manufacture motorcycles. By the 1950s, Europe had fallen in love with racing, and the Motogiro d’Italia was one of the most prestigious races of them all. Winning this 3,000km race would be huge for any motorcycle manufacturer, so Ducati set out to make a motorcycle specifically to win these races.

And we couldn’t be happier to bring together out two great passions of winemaking and motorcycles together under one name.
