MotoGPs Jack Miller Visits Doffo Winery!

If you were following MotoDoffo around this time last year, then you might remember when we hosted MotoGP stars Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo. What can we say? We’re Ducati fanatics, so when the opportunity arises to welcome professional Ducati racers into our home, we give them the 5-star Doffo family treatment!

The latest visitor from the MotoGP ranks was Australia native Jack Miller, who is riding for the Alma Pramac Ducati team this year. Back in 2014, Jack made a name for himself by winning six Moto3 races and finishing 2nd in the season standings that year. The next year he moved up to MotoGP and in the years since has been climbing into the top 10 of what is easily the world’s most competitive ranks.

Jack further made headlines at the Argentina GP when he made the bold choice to run hard compound tires despite the wet track. He ended up qualifying in pole position that day, and went on to finish 4th in the main event.

As Jack was in the U.S. for the upcoming Grand Prix of the Americas, we invited him over to check out Doffo Winery, the MotoDoffo collection, and show him some Argentine hospitality.

After tasting some Doffo and MotoDoffo wines, we presented Jack with a keepsake bottle of our Malbec wine. We hope he will display it proudly alongside his race trophies!

We then headed back to Marcelo’s house to look at a few more prized motorcycles, and of course have a proper Argentine feast. Marcelo manned the grill and we broke bread with our new friends. Is there any better shared experience than a home-cooked meal with good wine? We think not.

Congrats to Jack on his continued improvement in racing, and we will be cheering him on each and every race here at Doffo Winery! Check out our events calendar to see what MotoGP viewing parties we have coming up next!
